horse & colt grazing on marsh plains of the New Forest
This wild colt (young male, foal stallion, pony, cheval, chevaux) was oblivious to my presence, grazing in the marsh swamp from when I arrived to over half an hour later after I had finished taking my shots at dusk. He must have been hungry!
Apparently the New Forest Pony is well known for its constitution of iron, and ignoring tourists who travel through their environment! This landscape is a very popular area for tourism.
